As a domestic violence survivor - beginning this online bookshop/pop-up is a personal journey for me. Books saved me during my darkest moments providing solace, comfort and escape from trauma and depression. Books reminded me that trauma isn't defining, and resilience is possible. They played a significant role in my journey towards healing and recovery. This bookshop is more than just a business - it's a haven for those seeking refuge in stories. I want to create a space where people can find books, heal, inspire, and empower them. By sharing my story, I hope to inspire others to find comfort in reading and community. This bookshop represents hope, resilience, and the transformative power of stories.
